Tableau Business Analyst

Work Type Contract – 6 months Strong potential for extension Rate $50/HR (Remote) Position Overview Our Client is seeking a Senior Tableau Business Analyst to support business stakeholders by translating business requirements into high-quality, actionable Tableau dashboards. This role will focus on enhancing, optimizing, and maintaining existing dashboards, with a strong emphasis on performance, usability, and user experience. The dashboard framework is already in place. This individual will take ownership of existing work, proactively suggest improvements, and drive enhancements to completion while collaborating closely with business partners and data teams. This is a hands-on role requiring strong Tableau expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and translate requirements into Tableau dashboard solutions
• Enhance and optimize existing Tableau dashboards to improve performance, usability, and visual clarity
• Improve dashboard UX, layout, and overall user experience
• Maintain and iterate on current dashboards, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs
• Proactively suggest and implement enhancements to existing dashboard frameworks
• Communicate updates, changes, and insights clearly back to business users
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure dashboards support decision-making and operational goals
• Document dashboard changes, enhancements, and workflows as needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau dashboard development and optimization
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
• Experience improving dashboard performance, UX, and data layout
• Ability to take ownership of work and operate independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working with financial or numerical data

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or asset management
• Familiarity with financial data and terminology
• Exposure to Power BI (nice to have, not required)
• Salesforce experience is a plus
