Finance & Operations Analyst

We’re working with an early-stage, PE-backed AI consultancy that’s growing fast — and they’re looking for someone exceptional to join them part-time.

This isn’t a typical finance role.

Yes, you’ll own the numbers — but you’ll also work directly with a Founding Partner as a true right hand, getting exposure across operations, HR, and legal as the business scales.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK or EU.What you’ll do:Finance

• Own month-end (journals, accruals, reconciliations)
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
• Produce management accounts that actually tell a story
• Manage VAT returns and UK compliance

Operations, HR & Legal

• Support day-to-day business operations
• Assist with onboarding, contracts, and employee processes
• Get involved wherever needed — this is a startup, not a siloed role

What we’re looking for:

• 3–6 years in a finance / analyst role
• Strong Excel + financial modelling skills
• Experience with Xero (must-have)
• Someone AI-native — using tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. to work smarter
• High agency: you don’t wait for instructions, you figure things out
• Curious and commercially aware — you want to grow beyond finance
• Accountancy qualification (strongly desired)
