About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specialized in NodeJS, JavaScript, and Databases to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building scalable, high-performance APIs and integrating modern technology stacks such as GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems, ensuring optimal performance, and troubleshooting complex issues. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend developers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet client requirements and enhance user experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript. A strong background in NodeJS and JavaScript is essential, along with expertise in database management and API development. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in RESTful API and GraphQL development, as well as experience with performance tuning and debugging complex systems. Familiarity with cloud technologies, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with API gateways, authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth), message queues, and distributed systems troubleshooting will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend APIs using NodeJS and JavaScript.
  • Implement GraphQL APIs to facilitate flexible data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Optimize system performance through effective tuning and debugging techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and promote code quality standards.
  • Integrate with third-party services and APIs, including API gateways, authentication services, and message queues.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for distributed systems.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance technical capabilities.
