Role Purpose
We are looking for a Volunteer HR & People Operations Support to help us organise and maintain our internal people processes as the team grows. This role focuses on keeping the organisational structure up to date, supporting interviews, preparing internal documentation, and helping with simple team engagement activities.
The role is part-time and flexible, with tasks assigned based on current team needs. You will work closely with the founders and team leads to ensure people-related processes remain clear, organised, and human.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the organisation chart, including roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines.
- Support the interview process, including scheduling, candidate communication, and basic coordination.
- Prepare and organise HR and people-related documents, such as NDAs, agreements, onboarding documents, and internal templates.
- Help structure and maintain internal people records in an organised and secure way.
- Support onboarding preparation for new volunteers and team members.
- Assist with team culture activities, including birthdays, small internal initiatives, and basic engagement support.
Skills & Qualities
- Interest or experience in HR, People Operations, Administration, or Coordination (professional, academic, or volunteer).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with documents, internal processes, and structured information.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes.
- Interest in social impact, housing, or community-driven platforms is a plus.
