Senior HR Manager

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 plus wider benefits package

The Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior HR Manager for an initial 2-year period. The successful candidate will operate in a standalone role responsible for ensuring comprehensive strategic development of the HR function, alongside day-to-day delivery of all required HR functions. Some administration support will be provided by one of our Operations Coordinators.

The initial objectives of the role will be to move ICVCMs HR function from compliance through to best practice in a way which supports realisation of organisation priorities, reflects the organisations culture and ensures required day-to-day HR functions are delivered effectively.

The ICVCM is a global organisation, with staff based in the UK (65%) and worldwide (35% - 9 Countries). For this role ICVCM will consider applications from candidates based outside of the UK. However, as ICVCM is a UK registered organisation, candidates must be able to demonstrate significant experience operating in a HR Manager/Snr HR Manager capacity within a UK based company (5+ years) and a comprehensive understanding of current UK employment law and best practice.

Experience in an SME environment in a standalone HR role and working in a global HR function, through an employer of record model, is essential for this role.

This role is offered on a remote basis, as an initial two year fixed term contract with potential for extension dependent on funding. The salary for this role is advertised in GBP and based on UK market rates; if you are based outside the UK, salaries are adjusted to reflect your local market.
