About the Opportunity:
The PEOPLE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is responsible for managing and optimizing the systems and daily operations that support the people function. This role ensures accurate employee data management, automates repetitive tasks, manages access to company tools, supports compliance efforts, and provides frontline support to employees. The position contributes significantly to the organization by maintaining operational infrastructure that enhances efficiency and supports the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Administer day-to-day people processes and systems, including employee records, contracts, verifications, and performance management.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across people systems; develop integrations and reporting tools.
- Manage access to company-wide tools and handle device procurement and logistics.
- Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks using available automation tools.
- Respond to employee and contractor inquiries related to benefits, systems, devices, and policies.
- Coordinate recurring compliance activities such as training, reporting, audits, and access reviews.
- Potentially provide administrative support to the CEO and executive leadership team.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in People/HR or executive support roles, preferably in startup or small company environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a builder's mindset focused on workflow automation.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through on issues.
- People-oriented approach with effective communication and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with technology systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom at an administrative level.
- Familiarity with HRIS administration and compliance platforms is a plus.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $70,000 to $90,000 USD per year base salary.
- Equity compensation included for full-time US employees.
- Eligibility for discretionary bonus.
