About The Role The Human Resources Manager – HR Operations & Administration at Legends Global plays a pivotal role in overseeing and streamlining the organization's HR functions related to operations and employee lifecycle management. This position is responsible for managing daily HR administrative activities, including onboarding, employee records, HRIS systems, employment verifications, compliance tracking, background screening, and policy governance. The HR Manager collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and organizational leaders to ensure a consistent, efficient, and compliant employee experience from onboarding through offboarding. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, maintaining data integrity, implementing process improvements, and enhancing HR service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will also foster a culture of continuous improvement, confidentiality, and professionalism within the HR team and across the organization. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR operations, administration, and employee lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting multi-state or multi-location organizations preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR processes, compliance, and employee data administration
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiencies
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • High attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily HR operational activities, including employee onboarding, records management, and HR documentation
  • Manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and system integrity within platforms like Workday
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and workflows to enhance service delivery
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and business leaders to facilitate seamless employee transitions and support organizational initiatives
  • Oversee background screening, employment verification, and onboarding processes in accordance with legal and company standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and maintain audit-ready HR records and documentation
  • Administer employment verification programs such as The Work Number, maintaining confidentiality
  • Create and deliver HR operational communications, training materials, and resources for employees and managers
  • Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency and employee experience
  • Support annual HR initiatives including performance management, compensation, and organizational changes
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Lead special projects focused on HR process automation, system upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Supervise and mentor HR administrative team members as assigned
  • Perform additional duties and projects as required to support HR functions and organizational goals
