Recruiter (Freelance – U.S. Market)
About the opportunity
We are currently seeking experienced Recruiters to support candidates pursuing employment opportunities in the Canadian and U.S. job markets.
This role is ideal for professionals with recruitment, talent acquisition, or hiring experience who are interested in generating additional income through flexible freelance work. The position is fully remote, and assignments are provided on an occasional basis based on business needs.
Candidates who best meet the profile requirements will be contacted and invited to submit a quote for their services.
Key reponsability
- Conduct mock interviews with candidates applying for positions in the United States.
- Evaluate candidates according to specific job descriptions and hiring requirements.
- Identify candidate strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Assess communication skills, professionalism, and overall alignment with U.S. workplace expectations.
- Provide constructive, objective, and professional feedback to help candidates improve their competitiveness in the North American job market.
- Help candidates better understand U.S. hiring standards, workplace culture, and employer expectations.
Prepare a written evaluation report after each mock interview, including:
- Candidate strengths
- Areas for improvement
- Communication assessment
- Professional presentation evaluation
- Overall market readiness
- General recommendations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, HR Professional, Hiring Manager, or similar role.
- Proven experience interviewing and evaluating candidates for the U.S. job markets.
- Strong understanding of North American recruitment practices, hiring processes, workplace culture, and employer expectations.
- Experience assessing candidates across different seniority levels, including executive and leadership positions.
- Strong interview, evaluation, and candidate assessment skills.
- Ability to identify strengths, weaknesses, and development opportunities.
- Experience providing professional, actionable, and objective feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
