Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Generalist will manage full-cycle recruitment while providing additional HR support across employee relations, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and HR operations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter with a well-rounded HR background who can independently manage hiring needs, partner with hiring managers, support temporary workforce matters, and contribute to HR process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned departments, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and pre-employment activities.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Provide guidance on job descriptions, candidate selection, interviewing, and hiring best practices.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Support workforce planning by identifying current and future staffing needs.
HR Generalist Support
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to support employee relations, engagement, performance management, and HR initiatives.
- Assist managers with employee concerns, attendance issues, and workplace matters involving temporary employees.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters while maintaining confidentiality.
HR Operations, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain accurate employee and candidate records within HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics, workforce data, and HR reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment processes and improve HR workflows.
- Support HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Develop recommendations based on workforce trends, recruitment results, and employee feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant HR experience will be considered.
- 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including full-cycle talent acquisition and experience in at least two additional HR functional areas.
- Strong background in candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recruitment management.
- Experience supporting employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, or HR operations.
- Working knowledge of California and federal employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and HR data management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to analyze recruitment and workforce metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and handle confidential information professionally.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on Talent Acquisition professional with broader HR Generalist experience who enjoys recruiting but is equally comfortable supporting HR operations and employee-related initiatives.
The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fully remote environment.
