Position Overview:

We’re looking for an Associate to join our People Services team. In this role, you’ll support a portfolio of clients by executing day-to-day HR tasks, managing payroll cycles, maintaining compliance, and helping to build a reliable and high-value experience for clients and their employees. You help to ensure smooth service delivery and will be expected to operate with accuracy, ownership, and a customer-first mindset.

What You’ll Do:Client Support & Service Delivery

• Execute core HR tasks across onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and payroll coordination.
• Support the employee lifecycle for clients’ teams, helping make the employee experience seamless.
• Respond to client requests and questions promptly and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Support the setup and ongoing management of HR systems and tools (e.g., Gusto, Justworks, Rippling, etc.)

HR Process Management & Quality

• Follow established workflows and checklists to ensure accurate and timely execution of recurring HR processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency or reduce errors and flag them to the team.
• Help ensure clients stay compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and practices.

Collaboration & Growth

• Partner with colleagues on the People Services team to understand client needs and deliver high-quality support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates in Accounting, Tax, and Finance to support holistic client service.
• Seek out learning opportunities and take initiative to grow your knowledge in HR operations and compliance.

What You've Got:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2-4+ years of full cycle HR or people operations (experience with multiple clients or fast-paced environments is a plus).
• Familiarity with HR platforms like Gusto, Justworks, or Rippling.
• Attention to detail, Strong work management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective, scalable solutions.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach - you take initiative, follow through, and look for ways to improve.
