Job Summary:
As one of two HR Partners supporting the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert HR support, advice, and interventions to your designated stakeholder groups across EMEA. As one of two HR Partners supporting the complex EMEA region, this role operates in a matrix environment, partnering with senior leaders across multiple countries and functions, balancing operational delivery with strategic contribution. In collaboration with the Head of HR for EMEA, you will support key organisational priorities, including talent management, leadership development, and change initiatives. This is a dynamic role requiring strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Partnership
- Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers, including senior leaders, to support effective people management and organisational performance.
- Leadership and Development
- Build management and leadership capability through regular engagement, coaching, and tailored development initiatives.
- Change and Transformation
- Act as a change agent by driving continuous improvement, supporting organisational transformation, and embedding a culture of agility and resilience.
- Talent and Succession Planning
- Support the identification, development, and retention of talent through structured succession planning and capability-building initiatives. Reviewing, aligning and embedding reward and compensation structures in line with Group processes and strategies to attract, retain and motivate talent.
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyse workforce and organisational data to identify trends, predict challenges, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Promote and implement initiatives that foster an inclusive workplace culture, ensuring all employees feel valued and supported.
- Employee Engagement and Wellbeing
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement programmes that drive engagement and prioritise employee wellbeing.
- Policy and Compliance
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency across all people-related activities.
- HR Projects and Initiatives
- Contribute to HR improvement projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and enhances organisational effectiveness.
- Alignment with Group Principles
- Maintain strong connections with Spirax Group and Watson-Marlow Centres of Excellence (CoE) to adopt Group-wide principles and practices, promoting consistency and standardisation across processes and initiatives.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience operating as a trusted HR partner in a matrixed organisation, influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience executing and embedding people strategy in partnership with business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change across multiple teams or geographies, balancing pace with risk and compliance.
- Experience contributing to talent and succession planning in partnership with business leaders, rather than owning it in isolation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate people strategy into practical, executable actions.
- Commitment to promoting equity, inclusion and fair decision‑making through everyday people processes.
- Proven experience advising managers on a range of employee relations matters through to resolution.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, with exposure to EMEA contexts viewed as advantageous.
- Experience operating across multiple countries or regions (EMEA experience advantageous but not essential).
- High attention to detail, with confidence working with HR data, spreadsheets and reports (Excel / Microsoft tools essential).
- Experience using HR systems (HRIS) and managing employee data accurately in line with data protection requirements.
- Ability to balance pace with accuracy in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and pragmatically.
