Our client is looking for a dedicated SAP HCM Payroll Implementation Consultant to join our Application Services department. In this role, you will work closely with a Cluster Lead and collaborate directly with our outsourced clients. Your primary mission is to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient implementation of Austrian SAP Payroll solutions while providing high-quality functional and technical support. Your primary mission is to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient implementation of Austrian SAP Payroll solutions while providing high-quality functional and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a customer-facing consultant, gathering and analysing client requirements.
• Lead SAP Payroll project implementations across all phases, ensuring successful delivery.
• Provide expert application support and implementation consultancy through professional advice, clear guidance, and hands-on configuration activities.
• Configure and customize SAP Payroll in line with best practices to ensure robust, maintainable, and error-free solutions.
• Execute required system testing using provided or self-created test data to validate that solutions meet agreed specifications.
• Produce high-quality documentation for all implemented work packages, including both functional and technical aspects.
• Manage daily priorities efficiently and support project objectives, ensuring deadlines and milestones are fully met.
• Report regularly on project status, progress, risks, and issues to the Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Maintain effective and professional communication channels with internal teams and external clients.
• Communicate the status, root cause, and resolution of assigned issues in a clear and structured manner.
• Understand HR business processes and the overall SAP HR architecture to support decision-making and solution design.
• Adhere to project timelines and ensure accurate and timely delivery of all assigned work packages.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent
experience.
• Proven experience in SAP HCM application implementation.
• Participation in 3 or more Austrian SAP Payroll project rollouts.
• Strong interest in providing high-quality implementation and support within Human
Resources.
• Service-oriented mindset with strong client focus and a high sense of accountability.
• Demonstrated commitment to customers, the team, and project success.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Solid knowledge of Austrian Payroll processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in German (required).
