About The Role

The Human Resource Generalist plays a vital role within our HR Services department, supporting the implementation and management of HR practices and procedures for our clients. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Supervisor, the HR Generalist utilizes their knowledge and experience to assist in developing HR strategies that align with organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with legal regulations, enhance employee relations, and optimize HR processes. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, and requires proactive communication, organizational skills, and a strong understanding of HR functions. The HR Generalist will also participate in various projects aimed at continuous improvement of HR services and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible HR experience or four (4) years of equivalent experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification (preferred)
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze HR data and draw actionable insights
  • Experience with employee onboarding, exit interviews, and compliance audits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of HR plans and practices in collaboration with the HR team and clients
  • Perform I-9 compliance and file audits to ensure regulatory adherence
  • Conduct exit interviews and stay interviews to gather feedback and improve employee engagement
  • Communicate open enrollment periods and facilitate related processes
  • Lead meetings with clients, brokers, and internal teams to align HR initiatives
  • Compile and analyze EEO-1 reporting requirements
  • Assist with onboarding processes and new employee orientation
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR functions
  • Support internal investigations and maintain accurate employee records in client systems
  • Provide recommendations for HRIS and HCM system enhancements
  • Interact with clients on employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent development
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure efficient delivery of HR services
  • Contribute to HRSP projects and initiatives aimed at process improvement
  • Stay current with legal requirements and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and training sessions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals
