Responsibilities
- Human Resources Operations
- Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are consistently maintained.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and reporting systems.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and grant-related employment regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and operational efficiencies.
- Strategic Partnership & Leadership
- Partner closely with executive leadership to support organizational goals and growth initiatives.
- Contribute to workforce planning and organizational development strategies.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on HR best practices and employee management.
- Support organizational change management and growth-related initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts across the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Support employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and workforce solutions.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and workplace concerns.
- Support conflict resolution and corrective action processes when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote fair and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
- Benefits & Workforce Support
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries.
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and related support.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee well-being and workplace satisfaction.
- Monitor workforce trends and recommend improvements to HR programs.
Qualifications
- Required
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and retention initiatives.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to partner effectively with leadership and employees at all levels.
- Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working within nonprofit, grant-funded, or mission-driven organizations.
- Experience supporting workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 annually
