HR Manager (Standalone) – Global Professional ServicesLocation: Remote (Netherlands / Europe)The Opportunity

Are you an HR professional who excels in a "standalone" environment? A high-growth global professional services firm is seeking a proactive HR Manager to take full ownership of their people operations.

This is a newly created, hands-on role designed to provide structure to a global team of 30+ professionals. You will be a central part of the management team, moving the firm away from manual processes to build a professional HR infrastructure from the ground up.

The Role: A Dual Focus

1. Internal Infrastructure & Global Operations

  • Systems: Transition the firm from manual tracking to a dedicated HRIS/Talent Management System.
  • Compliance: Formalise employee handbooks and ensure legal compliance across the Netherlands, UK, and Malaysia, as well as any other jurisdiction where the firm engages employees or contractors.
  • Recruitment: Lead end-to-end global hiring, including immediate project staffing needs in Denmark.
  • Performance: Establish a formal framework with clear KPIs and growth tracking.

2. Client Consultancy (30–40% of time)

  • Act as a human capital consultant, advising the firm’s prestigious global clients on complex cross-border HR and talent projects.

Who You Are

We are seeking a meticulous professional with the foresight to manage legal risks and the autonomy to shape a global HR strategy.

  • Background: Proven experience within Professional Services (Audit, Legal, or Consulting).
  • Cross-Border Expertise: Strong knowledge of Dutch labor and UK employment Laws, coupled with the ability to navigate and apply employment regulations across other international jurisdictions.
  • Global Mindset: Highly adept at managing a workforce spread across multiple continents, with a deep understanding of the nuances of diverse labour markets.
  • Skills: Fluent in English with a meticulous approach to policy, infrastructure, and detail.
  • Mindset: You thrive in a standalone role where you are the sole point of contact for all "People" matters.
