About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will support payroll activities for several European markets, working closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and an interest in international payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly payroll processing across multiple countries.
- Validate and reconcile payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle payroll-related reporting and data analysis using Excel.
- Assist with tax, social security, and statutory payroll requirements.
- Maintain payroll and HR system data integrity.
- Respond to employee payroll queries and provide professional support.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and external partners.
- Support audits, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of experience in payroll administration or payroll operations.
- Proven experience managing Hungarian payroll processes is required.
- Exposure to multi-country payroll operations would be a strong advantage.
- Experience in an international or shared services environment is an advantage.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with payroll or HR systems such as Workday, SAP, ADP, or Oracle.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Must be fully authorized to work in Hungary without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
