About the Opportunity:
The MEDICAL RECRUITER - BEHAVIORAL HEALTH is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for Emergency Medicine and Advanced Provider candidates. This role is pivotal in attracting, evaluating, and securing qualified healthcare professionals to meet the organization's staffing needs, contributing directly to maintaining high-quality care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop candidate leads through various channels including advertisements, cold calling, referrals, internet sources, residency programs, and conventions.
- Initiate contact and follow-up with prospective physician and advanced provider candidates.
- Conduct preliminary phone screenings and provide detailed position and organizational information to candidates.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and Medical Directors.
- Discuss hiring and contracting processes with new hires.
- Perform verbal reference checks and facilitate written references.
- Maintain and update candidate records in Taleo and utilize system reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with Medical Directors, Regional Directors, and Advanced Providers.
- Conduct follow-up calls with new hires at 30, 60, and 90 days to support retention.
- Maintain up-to-date practice profiles including site information and credentialing requirements.
- Recruit for tier 2 incentive sites.
- Act as a consultant to sites regarding recruiting and interviewing efforts.
- Participate in relevant meetings addressing physician and advanced provider issues.
- Establish relationships with residency programs and attend related events.
- Prepare and process offer letters and hire documentation.
- Communicate updates to credentialing and provider enrollment teams.
- Stay current with policy and procedural updates and convey information appropriately.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of recent recruiting experience.
- Preferably experience in a recruitment agency setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong multitasking, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer service orientation with ability to work under pressure.
- Conflict resolution skills and sound judgment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, internet sourcing, and database management; experience with Taleo preferred.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
