The Job

We are looking for a visionary and performance-driven Sales Director for Central Europe East, who will lead a complex region with 9 countries. This region holds immense strategic importance with strong growth potential despite complex geopolitical and economic challenges. Your mission will be to lead the commercial team in unlocking market penetration, driving profitable growth, and strengthen strategic customer partnerships in line with our GoDirect strategy.

You’ll get to:

  • Own & execute the Central Europe East commercial strategy, localize marketing activations as well as new product launches. across key markets: Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Moldavia, and more.
  • Deliver revenue growth and market share expansion, especially in underpenetrated or emerging economies.
  • Lead a sales team of circa 30 people, building a high-performance, accountable, and motivated organization.
  • Drive GoDirect transformation, including new legal entity setup, route-to-market optimization, and margin enhancement.
  • Enable brand execution for DEWALT, STANLEY, and Black+Decker across all channels.
  • Implement world-class sales discipline: accurate forecasting, sales performance management, CRM usage, and pipeline management.

The Person

  • Demonstrable senior sales leadership experience across multiple countries
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (Russian, Romanian, Polish, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proven track record in sales execution, strategic account development, and managing P&L in diverse and complex regions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, finance, supply chain, HR etc) to drive results.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of local market dynamics (especially Eastern Europe, CIS).
  • Inspirational leader, able to develop and coach multicultural teams.
