About the Opportunity:
This role supports a purpose-driven organization focused on procurement that impacts people and communities in the US. The Senior People and Culture Business Partner will strategically align people strategies with business objectives, enhance talent development, and foster a positive culture that drives employee engagement and success.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and challenges
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational vision and values
• Advise on organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning
• Provide guidance on talent management, succession planning, and retention strategies
• Lead initiatives to strengthen company culture and align it with values and goals
• Design and manage employee engagement programs to boost satisfaction and productivity
• Address cultural challenges and promote a positive work environment
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts
• Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies with recruitment teams
• Identify skills gaps and development opportunities with managers
• Facilitate leadership development and performance management programs
• Implement coaching and mentoring for high-potential employees and future leaders
• Support and guide organizational change to ensure smooth transitions
• Lead change management initiatives to address resistance and foster acceptance
• Advise on restructures, role changes, and process improvements
• Handle complex employee relations issues, including grievances and conflicts
• Advise managers on people management practices and legal compliance
• Investigate and resolve employee disputes fairly and consistently
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and support decision-making
• Track KPIs related to talent management, engagement, retention, and culture
• Prepare and present regular reports on people and culture initiatives and outcomes
• Coach and mentor leaders to enhance leadership capabilities and team performance
• Guide managers on employee development, performance reviews, and career progression
• Provide expertise on conflict resolution and team dynamics
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• HR certifications preferred (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD)
• Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic HR Business Partner role
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and organizational development
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle sensitive and confidential matters
• Strong business acumen with ability to align HR initiatives to business goals
• Excellent problem-solving, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience driving organizational change and transformation
• Proficient in HRIS, MS Office Suite, and relevant HR software
