2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Resource Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s resource allocation to meet current and future business needs. This role ensures effective staffing across multiple departments by collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders to address complex resource requirements. The position plays a critical role in identifying capacity constraints, resolving staffing conflicts, supporting leadership strategy, and driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Responsibilities:
• Allocate and assign global resources in complex staffing scenarios for multiple departments
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to understand resource needs
• Identify strategies for current and future resource demands
• Proactively identify capacity constraints and hiring requirements
• Negotiate and resolve staffing conflicts with stakeholders
• Partner with department leadership to implement process improvements and initiatives
• Prepare metrics and summary reports on resource activities
• Escalate sensitive or high-risk staffing issues to leadership and executive teams
• Mentor team members as needed
• Support leadership with strategic planning
• Perform other duties as assigned
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 7 years of resource management or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Prior experience in a CRO or similar industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Problem-solving skills using knowledge, precedents, and practices
• Independent judgment in selecting methods to achieve results
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Financial acumen with understanding of budgets, forecasting, utilization, and realization
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Estimated salary range: $100,600 to $151,000 USD
• Eligible for discretionary annual bonus
