2. About the Opportunity:
The Recruiter - Home Health/Hospice - Remote is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to secure qualified healthcare professionals for home health and hospice roles. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization meets staffing demands by sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates, thereby directly impacting the quality and consistency of patient care.
3. Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand representative, conveying the organization’s culture to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Conduct phone interviews, schedule in-person interviews, perform reference and background checks, and extend offers of employment.
- Place employment advertisements with guidance from operations and maintain advertising reports.
- Respond to applicant and employee inquiries regarding current job opportunities.
- Liaise with employment agencies, advertising agencies, temporary agencies, and local resources.
- Maintain regular communication with scheduling supervisors and hiring managers about recruitment activities and new hires.
- Adhere to attendance and reliability guidelines essential for quality patient care.
- Support candidates in understanding both role requirements and the organization's collaborative environment.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
4. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of recruiting and interviewing experience required.
- Experience in home care and nurse recruitment preferred.
- Prefer thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Physical ability to meet job demands, including sitting and standing for extended periods, occasional driving, walking on varied surfaces, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 pounds.
