About the Company: The organization is a digital health company focused on supporting people with autoimmune conditions through personalized care, nutrition guidance, and ongoing coaching. It addresses the challenge of managing autoimmune health by combining specialized care with tailored support. About the Role: The People Ops & Recruiting Generalist role is designed to build and scale the operational foundation of the People function within the organization. This hands-on position involves program management, recruiting, and HR generalist duties. The role is critical in managing the rollout of new systems, supporting performance and compensation review cycles, growing headcount, and enhancing AI fluency across the company. The position ensures smooth operation of hiring and HR processes while owning key programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and launch employee engagement surveys and annual performance review programs
- Manage compliance programs including security audits and new hire setups
- Lead IT solution implementation to automate hardware/software provisioning and manage vendor relationships
- Plan monthly company-wide meetings and annual retreats
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop interview plans and scorecards
- Maintain recruiting pipelines and report on metrics
- Coordinate with external HR vendors on payroll, benefits, and compliance issues
- Develop automated workflows for onboarding and off-boarding
- Serve as first contact for HR questions and policy clarifications
- Draft communications on people-related topics and update internal knowledge hubs
Qualifications:
- Experience integrating AI tools and managing systems implementations end-to-end
- Proven full-cycle recruiting capabilities including sourcing and closing candidates
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving skills for developing new processes
- Empathy and genuine care in interactions with colleagues
- Understanding of autoimmune conditions is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Gusto, Deel, Ashby, Vanta, or IT tools
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Claude
- Background in health-tech or compliance-heavy industries
Pay Range and Compensation Package: Base salary range of $115,000 - $130,000, depending on relevant skills and experience. Competitive equity, benefits, and remote work options included.
