2. About the Opportunity:

The People Operations Manager is responsible for building and scaling the operational infrastructure that supports the People team. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing processes, systems, and workflows that manage the full employee lifecycle. The position requires bringing clarity and structure to ambiguity, improving organizational efficiency, and ensuring core People Operations functions run smoothly and accurately. It demands a strong operator mindset with ownership of projects from start to finish, proactively identifying gaps, and deploying scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable People Operations processes across onboarding, offboarding, and the employee lifecycle

• Identify inefficiencies and streamline or automate workflows for improved speed and accuracy

• Create and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and clarity

• Develop systems and processes that scale with company growth

• Manage day-to-day People Operations execution with accuracy and timeliness

• Oversee high-volume workflows with strong attention to detail

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Finance for seamless operations

• Ensure all priorities are managed without lapses

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment regulations

• Develop and manage processes to ensure audit readiness and reduce risk

• Partner with Payroll on compensation, benefits, and leave administration

• Own and optimize HR systems to preserve data integrity and usability

• Evaluate and implement tools to enhance efficiency and reporting

• Build reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions

• Support quarterly business reviews and leadership reporting with actionable insights

• Apply analytical methods to develop and implement compensation solutions

• Ensure onboarding and offboarding processes are efficient and consistent

• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to facilitate smooth candidate-to-employee transitions

• Manage internal inquiries through ticketing systems with timely and accurate responses

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in People Operations within a high-growth environment

• Proven experience building and enhancing operational processes and systems

• Strong operational focus on execution and measurable outcomes

• Experience with HR systems (experience with Rippling is a plus) and automation

• Solid knowledge of compliance and multi-state employment regulations

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
