2. About the Opportunity:
The Health & Benefits Placement Associate Manager plays a key role in shaping clients'' benefits strategies by managing and leading the full cycle of vendor and carrier bid, procurement, and negotiation activities. This position contributes significantly to aligning benefits procurement with client needs and market opportunities, ensuring quality and strategic impact across benefits programs.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead the entire carrier/vendor bid, procurement, and negotiation process for client benefits strategies
• Support clients on complex and strategic placement marketings
• Analyze and communicate the broader impact of placement strategies and decisions
• Apply in-depth knowledge of industry trends, products, and vendor differentiators to guide client strategies
• Manage client relationships and expectations effectively
• Collaborate with Client Service teams and Health & Benefits Communities of Expertise to prepare and present placement results
• Review placement work produced by Global Delivery Centers and colleagues for quality assurance
• Maintain and develop strong carrier/vendor relationships to strengthen the organization''s market position
4. Requirements:
• Experience in managing benefits placement, vendor bids, and negotiations
• Strong understanding of employer health and group benefit programs including medical, dental, life, and disability
• Ability to interpret industry trends and vendor offerings to inform strategy
• Proven capability to manage client relationships and communicate effectively
• Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
