About the Opportunity:
The organization is a global payroll and HR platform supporting teams in over 150 countries. This opportunity is for an Account Executive (AE), HR focused on new client acquisition and revenue growth within the North American SMB segment. The AE will lead the full sales cycle, leveraging expertise in HR information systems to address complex HR needs for growing businesses.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing within the assigned territory
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts
• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify and secure target accounts
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, collaboration with sales development, and handling inbound leads
• Serve as an expert on HR technology, trends, and compliance for the SMB market, advising potential clients on solutions
• Maintain accurate and current CRM records for sales activity, pipeline data, and forecasts
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Implementation, Product, and Legal teams for seamless client onboarding
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of quota-carrying, full-cycle sales experience in HR/People Operations software
• Proven success selling B2B SaaS solutions to the SMB segment
• Must be based in North America
• Demonstrated ability to manage a territory and complete the sales cycle, closing new clients and growing existing accounts
• Strong motivation, resilience, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to communicate with HR leaders and executives
• Preferred: Experience with global payroll, contractor management, or employer of record (EOR) solutions
• Preferred: Understanding of compliance and challenges in the North American HR and payroll landscape
