Reporting to a senior consulting leader, you will be accountable for client success and retention and will coordinate the wider delivery team around each account. The work combines strategic benefits advice, complex account management, regulatory knowledge and practical execution across carriers, vendors and internal specialists.
The Role
- Own the success and retention of an assigned book of business.
- Lead the consulting approach for each client and develop annual account plans.
- Coordinate consulting delivery teams to implement strategic initiatives and maintain high service standards.
- Advise clients on market developments, benefits best practice and relevant regulatory changes.
- Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors and internal colleagues.
- Work with sales, technology operations and product teams on business-development and operational-improvement opportunities.
- Five to ten years of benefits consulting experience managing complex client accounts across small, mid-market and large-group segments.
- Deep knowledge of large-group benefits, funding arrangements and US compliance requirements including ERISA, ACA and COBRA.
- A current Life & Health Producer's Licence.
- Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building capability.
- Team or project leadership.
- Experience with leading HR and benefits technology platforms.
- Consulting experience across both small- and large-group clients.
