Job Description

At Ramsay Health Care, we’re transforming how we attract, hire and onboard talent. As part of this journey, we’re introducing SmartRecruiters as our new recruitment platform, working alongside Workday for requisitions, approvals and onboarding.

We’re looking for a People Systems Specialist to play a key role in optimising our recruitment systems and supporting teams across the business.

About the role

This role is focused on the configuration, optimisation and ongoing support of SmartRecruiters, with additional exposure to Workday. Working closely with Talent Acquisition and HR Services, you’ll ensure our recruitment systems are efficient, well-governed and fit for scale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Configure and maintain recruitment workflows, hiring processes and system fields in SmartRecruiters
• Support system configuration and issue resolution across Workday
• Manage system changes end-to-end, including intake, impact assessment, testing (UAT) and release
• Maintain data integrity across systems, ensuring accuracy of key fields and approvals
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Apply governance standards to support consistent, scalable system design
• Support reporting, dashboards and user guidance
• Identify and implement improvements to recruitment processes and system functionality

About you

You bring a strong understanding of recruitment systems and how technology supports hiring at scale.

You’ll likely have:

• Experience with SmartRecruiters, Workday, or another ATS/HRIS
• A strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes
• Experience configuring systems or supporting system changes
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• The ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills

We welcome candidates with experience in either SmartRecruiters or Workday, as well as those with strong ATS experience who are keen to broaden their HR systems capability.
