Important Note
As our Director of Recruiting, you won’t be filling roles or sourcing candidates yourself, but you will be fully accountable for your team’s performance.
That means being hands-on with process development, training, solving client challenges, and doing whatever it takes to help your team deliver results.
You'll start by leading a team of 10, including a Lead Recruiter, 7 full-cycle Recruiters, and 2 Recruitment Assistants, with plans to grow.
Furthermore, most of our clients come through referrals, partnerships with leaders in DTC, CPG, and ecommerce, newsletter sponsorships, and our founder’s organic social media presence, which means they’re all highly qualified.
This, paired with our strict client onboarding process, means that we only work with clients and on roles that we’re very likely to close. For context, our current fill rate is +70%.

We scaled from $0 to $1M run rate in our first 12 months, and are looking for an experienced and ambitious Director of Recruiting who can help us grow to $10M and beyond.The Role
As our Director of Recruiting, you’ll be the head of our Recruiting team, and your focus will be on leading, scaling, and optimizing our recruiting operations, ensuring we have the systems, team, and strategy in place to consistently deliver outstanding results for our clients while maintaining a great work environment for our team.
You’ll report directly to the Founder & CEO and work closely with him to ensure your team aligns with the company’s growth goals and that the wider company supports your team’s efforts as well.
As the head of the most important department in our company, you’ll play a critical role in strategic decisions that shape the company’s future, along with our CEO and the Director of Business Development and Client Success.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who will join us as Director of Recruiting, with the ambition to grow into a future C-level leader in our company.
Job Description
- Own the recruitment department and talent strategy end-to-end, both internally and for clients.
- Design and implement strategies that accelerate high-quality placements for our clients and drive profitable revenue growth.
- Define and track KPIs across pipeline health, time-to-hire, quality of hire, and recruiter productivity, and identify and act on opportunities to optimize team performance.
- Partner with Sales and C-Level leadership to forecast hiring demand, scale delivery capacity, and align recruitment with growth targets.
- Lead and develop a 10-person team, including a Lead Recruiter, 7 full-cycle Recruiters, and 2 Recruitment Executives (with plans to scale).
- Establish scalable processes, guides, SOPs, and infrastructure to support consistent, high-volume hiring.
- Coach and develop team members at all levels to drive engagement, skill growth, and performance.
- Conduct continuous benchmarking of the LATAM remote talent market to stay ahead of compensation trends, sourcing strategies, and talent availability.
- Ensure all candidates meet quality standards, delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.
- Translate business objectives into clear, measurable recruiting team goals, adjusting strategies to fit our high-growth, early-stage context.
- Proactively manage team priorities and planning on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis in line with company goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting ROI by analyzing funnel performance and reallocating resources for maximum impact.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and ongoing feedback to support high standards, team well-being, and prevent burnout and talent churn.
Experience & Skills
Must Have
- Must be US-based.
- +6 years in recruiting, including +3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong background in recruitment agencies with a clear understanding of speed, scale, and performance-driven hiring.
- Proven experience scaling an agency team from ~10 to +50 people or similar.
- Experience managing a recruitment team of at least 10 people in a recruitment agency.
- Strong leader, coach, and people manager. You develop your team, take care of them, and hold them accountable.
- Metrics and outcomes-driven. You know how to track what matters and what moves the needle.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
Nice to have
- Experience reporting to founders or C-level leaders at fast-growing companies.
- Experience hiring in LATAM.
