What you`ll get up to as our People Administration Team Leader
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the transformation of our People function, supporting the move towards a People Shared Services model and the introduction of an enterprise-wide People system. You’ll focus on building team capability, improving operational performance and embedding more consistent, streamlined ways of working, including automation and self-service.
You’ll also oversee key People administration and regulatory activities, including the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), ensuring robust controls, accurate records and timely delivery of critical processes.
What We Look For In You
- Experience of leading and developing a People Administration, HR Operations or Shared Services team.
- Strong coaching and people management skills, with the ability to build capability, manage performance and create a collaborative team environment.
- A good understanding of People administration processes across the employee lifecycle, alongside experience managing service levels, quality and operational priorities.
- Experience of process improvement, standardisation and supporting operational transformation, including system implementation, automation or new ways of working.
- An understanding of SMCR, certification and fitness and propriety processes within a regulated financial services environment.
- A strong focus on accuracy, risk management, compliance and maintaining robust records and controls.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Experience using HR systems and technology-enabled processes, ideally Workday or a similar HR information system.
