PEPL, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and employee-focused Senior Benefits Analyst with expertise in Paylocity to join our managed services team. This is a fully remote consulting role. This opportunity combines system optimization, benefits administration, auditing, and leave management. You will ensure accurate employee classifications, seamless benefits and payroll operations, and clear communication with employees and managers. You’ll be a key resource in optimizing processes, improving compliance, and supporting employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • :Audit and clean up employee classifications (e.g., class codes), ensuring correct benefit eligibility
  • .Review EDI feeds to confirm accurate information flows between payroll and benefits systems
  • .Identify and address missed benefits deductions
  • .Define, implement, and manage leave policies, including tracking and administration for employees on leave
  • .Manage open enrollment activities, including system setup, employee communication, and troubleshooting
  • .Administer ongoing benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.)
  • .Oversee leave of absence administration, including FMLA and related programs
  • .Administer COBRA and ensure compliance with all related processes
  • .Manage ACA administration and reporting requirements
  • .Perform regular benefit reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • .Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to maintain seamless processes
  • .Develop and communicate best practices to managers and employees; provide education on benefits offerings

.Qualifications

  • :Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • .5+ years of experience in benefits administration; senior-level experience a plus
  • .Strong knowledge of benefits programs, leave administration, COBRA, ACA, and payroll processes
  • .Experience auditing systems and improving backend processes
  • .Proficiency in Paylocity required
  • .Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • .Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support employees with empathy and clarity
