About PeopleROI

PeopleROI partners with organizations to strengthen the connection between people, performance, and business results. We provide strategic HR partnership, business optimization, and technology-enabled solutions designed to help organizations operate more effectively, develop their people, and build scalable processes for long-term growth.

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and enjoys solving complex people and business challenges.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to PeopleROI clients, partnering with leaders and HR teams to assess needs, solve problems, improve processes, and execute strategic and operational HR initiatives.

This is not a traditional HRBP role supporting one organization. The HRBP will work across multiple client environments, industries, and projects, requiring adaptability, strong business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to quickly understand how an organization operates.

The position is remote with regular travel to client locations. Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States; however, East Coast residency is preferred based on client needs and travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR partner and trusted advisor to client leadership teams.
  • Support multiple client engagements and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Assess current HR practices, processes, organizational structures, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance across employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational development, compensation, benefits, compliance, workforce planning, and HR operations.
  • Develop and implement practical HR solutions aligned with each client's business objectives and operational needs.
  • Support HR transformation, process improvement, system implementation, and business optimization initiatives.
  • Review and develop policies, procedures, employee handbooks, job descriptions, organizational structures, and other HR documentation.
  • Partner with leaders to address employee relations matters and provide consistent, risk-conscious recommendations.
  • Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Assist clients with building scalable HR infrastructure, processes, workflows, and operating models.
  • Support change-management initiatives and help leaders effectively communicate and implement organizational changes.
  • Facilitate meetings, presentations, training sessions, and workshops for employees and leadership teams.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels and represent PeopleROI professionally in every client interaction.
  • Leverage technology, automation, AI, and data-driven tools to improve HR processes and increase organizational efficiency.
  • Travel to client locations as necessary for assessments, implementations, meetings, training, and project support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably including HR Business Partner, HR Manager, HR consulting, or similar responsibilities.
  • Broad working knowledge of HR operations and employment practices.
  • Strong employee relations and problem-solving experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and confidently provide recommendations.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, or business units simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning and navigating HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and other business technology platforms.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Interest in leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technology to improve the way HR operates.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly based on client and project needs.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is business-minded, adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable operating with autonomy. You should be equally comfortable discussing strategy with an executive, working through an employee relations issue, analyzing a process in Excel, facilitating a client meeting, or rolling up your sleeves to help execute a project.

Because PeopleROI works across different organizations and industries, success in this position requires someone who can quickly understand a new business, identify what is and is not working, and develop practical solutions rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all HR approach.

Above all, we are looking for someone who understands that great HR is not simply about administering programs — it is about helping organizations and their people perform better.

People. Performance. Results.
