The role
Grow OKTOBER from 14 to 27 people in 2026 without losing what got us here. You'll work directly with the founder to build on our most important driver: people.
Recruitment (40%)
- Build pipeline with 3-5 candidates per role at all times
- Execute 13+ hires in 12 months (Retention Managers, Designers, leadership)
- Own full cycle: source, screen, coordinate, close
Team development (30%)
- Create career frameworks and growth paths per role
- Build world-class onboarding programs
- Own quarterly performance reviews
- Launch internal learning program
Culture & performance (20%)
- Keep culture in tact while doubling team size
- Track team satisfaction, fix issues before they become exits
- Design performance systems that fit our culture
HR Operations (10%)
- Handle compliance, policies, contracts
- Make sure nothing falls through cracks

About you:
- 2+ years recruiting or HR/people experience at startup/agency
- You've hired 15+ people successfully
- Built something others used (a process, a system, a framework)
- Comfortable with fast and scrappy
What matters:
- You assess talent quickly and accurately
- You move fast but don't compromise quality
- You're a builder, not a maintainer
- Agency background or similar hustle culture
- Low ego, high output
The setup
- €50-65K OTE (base + performance bonus)
- Remote-first with office in Amsterdam
- Autonomy and trust over process
- Work directly with founder
- Start February 2026
Not a fit if:
- You need perfect process before starting
- You come from big corporate HR
- You're uncomfortable with founder involvement
- You need lots of structure and hand-holding
