About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Data Entry Clerk to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our employee data systems. Your keen eye for detail and exceptional data entry skills will ensure that all HR-related information is updated promptly and efficiently. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or higher preferred. Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role is essential. You should demonstrate excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and accuracy in data handling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, is required, along with familiarity with HR systems and databases. Knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations is crucial to ensure compliance and confidentiality. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective communication abilities—both written and verbal—are necessary to succeed in this role. A willingness to learn new software and adapt to evolving technologies is highly valued. Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain employee information in the HR database and dashboards.
  • Verify data accuracy by comparing input to source documents.
  • Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.
  • Scan and attach relevant documents into the electronic employee files.
  • Assist in processing employee changes such as terminations and personal information updates.
  • Generate standard reports from the HR database as requested by HR staff or management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Participate in HR audits by providing data reports and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding data entry or data issues from employees or management.
  • Coordinate with HR team members to ensure consistency of data entry practices.
  • Assist with the development of data management procedures to streamline HR processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and best practices.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Assist with data retrieval and analysis for various HR projects and initiatives.
