About Us:

Neo People Management is a trusted provider of HR and payroll solutions for schools and multi-academy trusts across the UK. As specialists in the education sector, we understand the unique challenges our clients face and are passionate about supporting them to grow and thrive.

Each month, our high-quality payroll and pensions service pays over 62,000 school-based staff, and our expert HR team delivers proactive operational and strategic advice to hundreds of schools. Our people are at the heart of what we do - a knowledgeable, passionate team committed to making a real difference for our clients.

About Us:

We are looking for an experienced iTrent Systems Administrator to join our dedicated team on a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract, to support the development, performance and continuous improvement of our iTrent HRIS in a complex multi-tenanted environment.

In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively across HR, Payroll and wider stakeholder groups to enhance system functionality, streamline processes, and ensure the platform continues to provide an exceptional experience for both colleagues and clients. You will also play a key part in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support and development for the iTrent HRIS.

  • Troubleshoot issues, resolve system queries and support end-users.

  • Configure, customise and enhance iTrent functionality to meet evolving business needs.

  • Ensure system integrity, compliance, data quality and security.

  • Work with colleagues to integrate iTrent with other HR-related applications.

  • Produce and distribute management information reports (using Business Objects and Excel).

  • Maintain excellent levels of customer care, ensuring accuracy and swift resolution of escalations.

  • Attend client meetings (online or in person) where required.

  • Contribute to consistent processes, effective communication and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Support training, mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Ensure compliance with SEG training and quality standards.

About You:

We're looking for someone who brings technical expertise, a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as an iTrent System Administrator (HR and Payroll modules).

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience producing management reports (Business Objects desirable).

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (email, phone, video call).

  • Understanding of data protection and GDPR principles.

  • A positive, can-do attitude with strong listening and rapport-building skills.

  • Sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple queries/projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Confidence in working independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team.

Our Benefits:

At Neo People, we are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive and flexible working environment. We celebrate diversity and value the strengths each individual brings to our team.

We offer:

  • 36 days annual leave (28 + 8 bank holidays) plus one additional day per year of service (up to 5 extra).

  • Hybrid or remote working available nationwide.

  • Learning & Development opportunities to support your growth.

  • A flexible benefits package including a Healthcare Scheme and the option to purchase additional annual leave.

If you're passionate about using your iTrent expertise to make a difference in the education sector, we'd love to hear from you.
