Role Overview Smart Learn Tutoring LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources Department. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for tutoring and administrative positions. This role is critical in helping our organization build a talented team dedicated to supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Post job openings on job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screenings and initial interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Verify employment history, education, certifications, and references.
- Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases.
- Assist with onboarding and new employee orientation.
- Build partnerships with colleges, universities, and professional organizations.
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Prepare recruitment reports and hiring metrics for leadership.
QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online recruiting platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
