Position Overview
MBO Partners is growing, and we are seeking Associate Recruiters (Recruiting Specialists) to join our recruiting delivery team as we support a growing portfolio of client projects. You’ll partner with senior recruiters on high-volume and specialized searches, engaging candidates, conducting thorough screens, and helping qualified talent move through the recruiting process. You’ll also independently manage less complex requisitions across a variety of functional areas.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct structured candidate screens based on defined position requirements and qualifying criteria.
- Assess candidates’ experience, skills, availability, compensation expectations, and interest in contract opportunities.
- Prepare clear, accurate screening notes to support recruiter review and candidate submission decisions.
- Maintain candidate activity, workflow stages, and documentation within recruiting systems.
- Partner with Recruiters to manage candidate pipelines and support priority requisitions.
- Independently manage less complex requisitions from intake through candidate presentation.
- Deliver timely communication and a positive, professional candidate experience.
- Shift between requisitions and hiring initiatives as delivery priorities evolve.
- Support recruiting operations through requisition setup, interview scheduling, system updates, submittal coordination, VMS entry, reporting, and candidate communications as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 3 years of hands-on recruiting experience.
- Experience in both staffing and corporate environments is desired.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruiting CRMs, or other HR technology.
- Ability to manage a high volume of activity while maintaining accuracy and a positive candidate experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and clearly summarize candidate qualifications.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-through.
- Flexibility to support different recruiters, skill areas, and hiring initiatives as business needs change.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and comfort working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
