This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead People Business Partner, Security in United States. In this strategic role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders within the security and engineering organization. You will influence and shape people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and growth while aligning closely with business goals. Acting as a connector between leadership and teams, you will support organizational design, talent planning, and workforce initiatives that enhance team effectiveness and retention. This role requires a balance of hands-on execution, coaching, and data-driven decision making, providing guidance across performance management, career development, and change management. You will also leverage AI tools to enhance HR efficiency and insights. The position is ideal for an experienced, business-minded People professional passionate about building high-performing teams in fast-paced, complex environments. Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary People partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders in the security and engineering organization, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, and career development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess organizational health, workforce planning, and team effectiveness, identifying opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner on change management initiatives, organizational design, and strategic projects that support business priorities and long-term growth.
  • Lead the execution of critical People programs including talent reviews, performance cycles, compensation planning, and engagement surveys.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret people-related data to inform decisions, generate insights, and recommend actionable strategies to improve organizational outcomes.
  • Work cross-functionally with HR and business stakeholders to design and implement scalable policies and programs that attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Act as a coach and consultant to leaders and managers, building capabilities to strengthen team performance and drive accountability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a People Business Partner supporting senior leaders in fast-paced or high-growth environments, preferably within tech or security organizations.
  • Proven experience providing guidance on performance management, career development, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Strong business acumen and curiosity to understand organizational and client group dynamics.
  • Exceptional influencer, communicator, and facilitator with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative and pragmatic problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities, including managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze data, synthesize insights, and communicate actionable recommendations clearly.
  • Demonstrated bias for action, with a proactive, hands-on approach to getting work done.
  • Open to leveraging AI tools to optimize HR processes and decision-making while applying sound judgment and responsibility.
