This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an HR People Operations Specialist in United Kingdom . This role sits at the heart of a globally distributed, remote-first organization, ensuring that core HR processes run smoothly and consistently across teams and time zones. You will be responsible for supporting the operational backbone of the People function, helping to coordinate essential HR workflows such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management. The position requires strong attention to detail, structure, and the ability to manage multiple processes in parallel within a fast-moving environment. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and leadership teams to ensure accurate data management and seamless employee experiences. This is a highly collaborative role where communication, organization, and reliability are key to success. You will also play an important part in maintaining trust, compliance, and operational excellence across a global workforce. Accountabilities

  • Support and manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a consistent and high-quality employee experience
  • Maintain and update HR records, systems, and databases with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist in managing time-off tracking, HR documentation, and basic compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure alignment across processes
  • Support HR reporting and data analysis to help improve decision-making and operational efficiency
  • Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and operational support
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems, workflows, and internal processes

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR operations, people operations, or administrative/project coordination roles
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management
  • Experience working with HR systems, spreadsheets, and collaborative tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset when working with HR data
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain processes clearly
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a people-focused and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and locations
  • High level of discretion, reliability, and respect for data privacy and confidentiality
  • Interest in technology-driven or fintech/crypto environments is a plus
