Payroll Compliance Expert – Spain (Remote)

I’m working with a fast-growing global payroll business looking for a senior Payroll Compliance Expert to own Spanish payroll compliance end-to-end. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your expertise will directly influence payroll processes, audits and product decisions.

What they’re looking for

• Fluent Spanish & English
• Deep knowledge of Spanish payroll and employment compliance
• Background within a payroll provider, EOR, or similar global payroll environment
• Spanish residency preferred (to hold a Certificado Digital – not essential, but advantageous)
• Comfortable partnering with Product, Tech and Legal teams

The role

You’ll be the compliance owner for Spain — leading audits, handling investigations, and translating legislation into scalable payroll logic and systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure payroll compliance is built in, not bolted on.
