Payroll Administrator

Our client is looking for someone to join a small but dynamic team, they need a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Admin Specialist. If you have hands-on experience with XCD (Salesforce-based) payroll systems and are looking for a flexible, part-time role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for UK-based employees using XCD.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll deadlines.
• Manage pension submissions, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.), and tax code changes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data in the XCD platform.
• Provide admin support across HR, onboarding, and compliance.
• Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, holidays, and benefits.
• Generate payroll reports for finance and audit purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience with XCD payroll or other cloud-based payroll systems.
• Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Desirable

• CIPP or equivalent payroll qualification.
• Experience with Salesforce or XCD HR modules.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Teams, Slack, Trello).
