Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the HR Operations, Talent Management, IT and Legal teams to prepare documentation, communications, and logistics for a planned reduction in force
• Support employee data review and reporting, ensuring accuracy for all impacted team members
• Draft, review, and organize termination letters, severance agreements, and employee notifications
• Assist in scheduling employee conversations and coordinating available support resources
• Conduct employee notification conversations
• Manage updates within the HRIS system, maintaining accurate and timely employee records
• Respond to employee questions with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
• Provide operational follow-up support, including payroll coordination, benefits processing, and IT coordination
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies

Qualifications Required:

• 3+ years of experience in HR Generalist, People Operations, or related HR support roles
• Previous exposure to employee transitions or reduction in force processes preferred
• Familiarity with multi-state employment law and HR best practices
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG or similar)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a calm and compassionate demeanor
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment

Pay Rate:

• 25-28/hr
