The Opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Sales Executive (APAC) to drive growth across the region through full-cycle sales ownership — from prospecting to closing and onboarding. In this role, you’ll identify and engage high-value prospects, deliver consultative and data-driven conversations, and position Certn’s background screening solutions as the best in the market. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to align client needs with Certn’s offerings, all while managing a strategic, healthy pipeline within a remote-first environment. Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects through outbound outreach, inbound leads, and partner referrals
- Lead discovery sessions, demos, and strategic consults to align client needs with Certn’s solutions
- Negotiate, close, and onboard new accounts while ensuring a seamless customer handoff to Customer Success and Support
- Maintain pipeline hygiene, accurate forecasting, and timely updates in CRM systems (HubSpot)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with GTM teams to deliver insights, improve processes, and support revenue growth
Key Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, digital selling proficiency, CRM experience, time management, ability to thrive in remote-first environments
- 5-7 years in a sales, SDR, or BDR role, ideally in a tech-driven B2B environment.
Nice to Haves
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a high-growth sales environment
- Familiarity with SaaS and sales automation tools (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator); solution-selling or MEDDIC methodology
- 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in SaaS/HR Tech sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
