What We Do

-Recruit Volunteers & Apprentices – Find passionate developers, designers, and product thinkers who want real experience and impact.

-Prescreen Candidates – Conduct informal chats and assessments to understand skills, mindset, and team fit.

-Talent Matching – Connect the right people with the right startups based on skills, goals, and startup needs.

 -Support Founders – Work directly with founders to understand their roles, timelines, and culture — and help fill those gaps.

Role Overview

The Regional Manager – APAC (Country Lead) will lead recruiting activities in the APAC region, ensuring that BetaBuilders startups have the right talent to thrive. You will oversee sourcing, screening, and matching efforts, build relationships with local talent communities, and work closely with founders to understand and fulfil their team needs.

As the face of BetaBuilders Recruiting in your region, you’ll also recruit, train, and guide a small team of volunteer recruiters to maximise reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities

-Regional Leadership: Establish and manage BetaBuilders Recruiting operations in your country/region, aligned with APAC and global goals.

 -Talent Sourcing: Identify and engage potential volunteers, apprentices, and contributors from local and online communities.

-Candidate Screening: Conduct initial chats and skill assessments to evaluate fit for startup teams.

-Founder Support: Partner with early-stage founders to understand requirements, timelines, and cultural fit.

-Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and coordinate local volunteer recruiters to expand reach and capacity.

-Community Building: Represent BetaBuilders in local startup, tech, and creative communities through events, partnerships, and online engagement.

-Reporting & Feedback: Track recruitment metrics, share updates, and recommend improvements to the global team.

Qualifications & Skills

-Strong background in recruiting, talent acquisition, or community management (startup or volunteer recruitment experience a plus).

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse talent pools.

-Self-starter with high ownership, comfortable working in a remote, volunteer-driven environment.

-Deep understanding of local market dynamics and talent communities in APAC region.

-Ability to lead and motivate volunteers to achieve common goals.

-Passion for startups, innovation, and enabling talent to create real-world impact.
