Akkodis is seeking a Dispute Resolution Analyst for a Contract position.
Rate Range: $15/hr -$17/hr on W2 without benefits, The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors
Title: Reconsideration Analyst I/ Dispute Resolution Analyst I / Case ClerkJob Types: ContractLocation: REMOTEPosition Summary: Performs routine appeals work. Serves as a support person for the reconsideration/dispute resolution professionals and physician reviewers for second level reconsiderations/dispute resolutions. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. This role offers hands-on experience in healthcare operations, strong foundational training, and opportunities for growth within appeals or analyst career paths.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting Medicare and healthcare appeals and dispute resolution cases
- Building and reviewing case files to ensure regulatory validity
- Coordinating documentation with external entities
- Responding to written and telephonic inquiries from patients, providers, or representatives
- Entering and maintaining accurate case data in multiple systems
- Assisting senior analysts and physician reviewers with second-level appeals
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate/ Bachelors (college coursework or administrative training is a plus)
- 1+ year of general office, administrative, healthcare, or compliance-related experience
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and written communication skills
- Ability to meet quality and productivity standards in a deadline-driven environment
- Interest in healthcare, compliance, or regulatory work (Medicare experience is a plus but not required)
