About The Role The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Mortenson plays a vital role in supporting the recruitment process by providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the talent acquisition team. This role requires an individual who can interact professionally with staff at all levels within the organization, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and maintain high levels of confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating various activities throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in talent acquisition processes, work with cutting-edge HR technology such as Oracle Cloud, and contribute to building a strong, diverse workforce that aligns with Mortenson’s core values. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. A minimum of one year of experience supporting talent acquisition or in a similar HR support role is preferred. Exposure to HR disciplines such as recruiting, benefits, training, or compensation is advantageous. Candidates should have a solid understanding of recruiting processes and employment laws at federal, state, and local levels. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for handling sensitive and confidential information, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are necessary, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A customer-focused approach, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of ownership and urgency to complete projects are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Coordinate key activities across the recruitment lifecycle, including managing referrals, job postings, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, candidate disposition, and pre-employment processes.
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing offer letters and documents, organizing meetings, and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud (ORC), providing support to internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with HR team members to deliver an exceptional onboarding experience, which may include sending reminders for first-day activities or assisting with onboarding training sessions.
- Represent Mortenson at job fairs and recruiting events to attract diverse talent pools and promote the company's employment brand.
- Assist TA Specialists, TA Lead-Manager, or TA Director with ad hoc reporting, data analysis, and presentation tasks to support strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned to support the overall talent acquisition objectives.
