About Advanced Care Placement Services
Advanced Care Placement Services (ACPS) is a growing healthcare recruitment agency specializing in permanent placement of healthcare professionals throughout New York, New Jersey, and surrounding markets.
We work with hospitals, home healthcare agencies, nursing homes, hospice organizations, PACE programs, behavioral health providers, and other healthcare organizations to connect qualified professionals with rewarding career opportunities.
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Healthcare Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, outbound recruitment environment.
This is not a traditional corporate HR recruiting position. We are looking for someone who enjoys proactively sourcing candidates, building relationships, making calls, and turning conversations into successful placements.
The Role
As a Healthcare Recruiter at ACPS, you will manage the candidate side of the recruitment process, from initial outreach and screening through client interviews, offers, and placement.
You will work on active healthcare job openings, identify qualified candidates, present career opportunities, and guide candidates throughout the hiring process.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, consistent outbound activity, persistence, organization, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals.
This is a production-driven position where your results, initiative, and ability to close placements matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and recruit healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, and other clinical professionals.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, text messages, emails, and candidate follow-ups.
- Identify and engage qualified candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, Bullhorn ATS, and other recruitment resources.
- Conduct thorough candidate screenings to evaluate experience, qualifications, career goals, compensation expectations, and overall suitability.
- Present job opportunities effectively and generate candidate interest.
- Submit qualified candidates for open client positions while maintaining high standards of candidate quality.
- Coordinate interviews, prepare candidates, gather feedback, and manage next steps.
- Address candidate concerns, overcome objections, and negotiate offers to facilitate successful placements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process and onboarding.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
- Accurately document candidate interactions, recruitment activity, and progress in our applicant tracking system.
- Meet established weekly recruitment activity, candidate submission, interview, and placement goals.
- Collaborate with recruitment leadership and Account Management to prioritize opportunities and maximize placement success.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare recruitment within a staffing or recruitment agency.
- Hands-on experience proactively sourcing candidates through outbound calls, emails, and text messaging.
- Experience recruiting healthcare professionals, particularly nursing or other clinical positions.
- Experience screening candidates, presenting job opportunities, coordinating interviews, and managing candidates through the hiring process.
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound recruitment and measurable performance targets.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle objections, follow up consistently, and keep candidates engaged.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and experience using applicant tracking systems or recruitment databases.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple job openings, and maintain productivity in a fully remote environment.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday during Eastern Time business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in permanent placement or direct-hire healthcare recruitment.
- Familiarity with New York and New Jersey healthcare recruitment markets.
- Previous experience with Bullhorn ATS.
- Experience recruiting RNs, LPNs, NPs, Social Workers, or allied healthcare professionals.
- Experience using Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, and other recruiting platforms.
- Proven track record of meeting weekly candidate submission and placement targets.
What Makes Someone Successful at ACPS?
