About the role:
The People Operations Manager will manage and continuously develop a team of People Operations Advisers, and is responsible for all People processes within the business. Aligned closely with Payroll, Reward and the Business Partner team, the People Operations Manager will be a reliable partner and collaborator of their peers. A keen eye for detail, a passion for process improvement and the ability to accurately keep a pulse on the needs of the business will be key for this role.
The People Operations Manager will report to the Head of People Operations and assist in ensuring People data and processes are efficient, accurate and cost and time effective.
Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will:
- Manage the People Operations team (currently a team of three)
- Strive to continuously improve the People Operations function, seeking opportunities for process improvement and efficiency through automation and organisation.
- Be heavily involved in the maintenance and ongoing development of the HRIS system
- Work closely with the Head of People Operations to ensure all People data is accurate and maintained appropriately
- Own the operational day to day activities within People Operations including all People changes and updates.
- Proactively engage with the business on People related matters
- Compliance with Global visa requirements - facing into the operational aspect of this for our people.
- Own automated reporting for the business within the HRIS system with a focus on accuracy and quality reporting content
- Be responsible for People related reporting to Governing bodies e.g. ONS for the UK
- Partner with relevant business units for projects and key deliverables.
- Liaise with auditors as required, providing data and process detail in an accurate and timely manner.
What we’re looking for from you:
- Experience managing a team in a fast paced environment
- Experience using Slack and Google as your primary suite of applications
- An appetite to continuously improve processes
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the business
- The ability to work pro-actively and in a solutions oriented manner
- Experience in a global, high velocity business
- Have the ability to pivot into projects and ‘roll up their sleeves’
Bonus point if you have:
- Have previous experience with HiBob as an HRIS
- Have managed and worked within remote teams
