Role Description The Global Impact Tour – Director of Recruiting (Volunteer) will lead the strategy and execution of recruiting efforts for participants, partners, and volunteers involved in the Global Impact Tour. This remote volunteer role includes designing recruiting campaigns, identifying target audiences, and building outreach pipelines in collaboration with regional coordinators and partner organizations. The Director of Recruiting will conduct research on potential partner NGOs, universities, community groups, and mission-aligned organizations, and maintain relationships through regular communication and follow-up. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with program and communications teams, managing volunteer recruiters, tracking recruitment metrics, and refining processes to improve reach and engagement. The person in this role will also help ensure the recruitment experience is inclusive, supportive, and aligned with the foundation’s values and mission. Qualifications
- Experience with Guided Tours and Escorted Tours, or similar program, event, or campaign coordination skills relevant to global or multi-location initiatives.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, answering questions clearly, and supporting potential participants and partners through the recruitment process.
- Research skills to identify potential partners, audiences, and recruitment channels, and to analyze data for improving recruiting strategies.
- Sales-related skills, including persuasive communication, relationship-building, and the ability to present the mission and programs in a compelling, values-aligned way.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, community organizing, or volunteer coordination is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus for global outreach.
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment and managing multiple priorities across time zones.
- Alignment with the foundation’s mission of personal accountability, social impact, equality, and sustainability.
- Prior experience with NGOs, social enterprises, or impact-focused initiatives is an advantage, but not required.
