Human Resources Manager

HR Project Manager- People Operations Our client, a Big 4 Professional Services Firm, is looking to add an HR Manager to join their people operations team. This strategic, project-based HR Manager role supports national tax operations across six global centers. The position focuses on performance management, policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and process optimization through technology and innovation. Key Responsibilities

• Execute the firm’s talent strategy and conduct operational analysis to inform decision-making.
• Lead strategic HR initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Lead and execute strategic HR initiatives across global centers.
• Oversee performance management processes for 600+ employees, including dashboards, reporting, and improvement plans.
• Manage cross-center collaboration, coach assignments, and stakeholder alignment.
• Drive adoption and compliance of credential policies.
• Utilize AI tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Copilot) to automate and enhance HR processes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Communicate effectively across diverse audiences and time zones.
• Navigate ambiguity and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven project management experience, MUST have project management experience within HR and/ or people operations.
• Proven ability to lead projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Proficiency in Power BI
• Comfortable utilizing and learning AI Tools (CoPilot).
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR project management focused roles, ideally in a managerial capacity.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to analyze complex organizational structures and interactions.
• Inclusive mindset with global acumen; ability to engage across cultures.
• High-level strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in matrixed organizations; prior professional services preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Additional Details

• Collaborates with people leaders and business stakeholders across centers in the U.S., Argentina, India, Mexico, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
• EST or CST time zones are strongly preferred due to global meeting schedules.
• Role offers potential for growth depending on candidate performance and business needs.
• This is a fully remote role, but candidates are required to reside within the continental United States.
• This is a contract position. It does not include PTO, paid holidays. Other benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, are optional but contributory)
• The maximum pay rate is $64/hour, but actual compensation is location-dependent and may vary based on market rates and experience.
