This time we are looking for 6 senior SAP HCM Consultants with experience in customizing Payroll modules. (German Payroll)
About the role
We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to support and enhance HR and payroll processes in an international environment. The main focus is German payroll, with links to Personnel Administration, Organizational Management and Time Management. The environment also covers Romania, the United Kingdom and Sweden.
Key responsibilities
· Analyze requirements from HR and payroll teams and design SAP HCM solutions.
· Configure and maintain SAP Payroll, primarily for Germany.
· Work with payroll schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), wage types and the payroll control record.
· Manage retroactive accounting, off-cycle payroll and payroll posting to FI.
· Analyze payroll results and clusters, validate payslips and verify calculation accuracy.
· Support tax and social insurance processes, year-end activities and reconciliation.
· Address payroll integration with personnel master data and time management.
· Collaborate with technical consultants on reports, interfaces and forms.
· Prepare functional specifications and support testing of changes.
Required experience
· Senior-level hands-on experience with SAP HCM, particularly Payroll (PY).
· Knowledge of German payroll, including tax and social insurance rules.
· Experience configuring payroll schemas, PCRs and wage types.
· Knowledge of retroactive accounting, off-cycle processing and integration with FI.
· Ability to analyze payroll results, identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
· Understanding of SAP Payroll integration with Personnel Administration (PA) and Time Management (PT).
· Fluent English for collaboration in an international team.
Additional skills
· German language skills.
· Payroll experience for Romania, the United Kingdom or Sweden.
· PA: enterprise and personnel structures, personnel actions, infotypes, dynamic actions, feature configuration and master-data validation.
· PT: work schedules, absence and attendance management, quotas, time evaluation schemas and PCRs, and payroll integration.
· OM: organizational objects and relationships, evaluation paths, PPOME, structural authorizations and PA–OM integration.
· Technical knowledge of ABAP HR, debugging, ALE/IDoc or RFC/BAPI.
· Experience with HR Forms, Smart Forms or Adobe Forms.
